A group within the PNM who refer to themselves as “PNM changemakers” has said one of the clearest obstacles to the party’s renewal was Foster Cummings.
The group is demanding Cummings’ immediate removal for several reasons:
1. Abuse of office and breach of constitutional duties—It said as general secretary, Cummings is entrusted with maintaining accurate membership records and ensuring a transparent electoral process, and yet two ineligible persons—Dr Amery Browne and Roger Monroe—were permitted to vote in the most recent General Council elections, “casting doubt on the legitimacy of the outcome”.
