Bryden pi managing director Barry Tangwell says the issues facing the pharmaceutical industry extend beyond distribution and pricing.

“It is not about monopoly. It’s more about levels of participation and scale of representation of pharmaceutical brands,” he said in response to questions from the Express via e-mail.

Tangwell said access to generic and lower-priced pharmaceuticals is also not an issue.
