A San Fernando home­owner stood his ground on his premises and detained an intru­der who was found peering through a window of his home early on Tuesday.

Kirk Pegus, with the assistance of his 14-year-old son and their dog, “Spike”, detained the man whom he believed was attemp­ting to break into their home, and handed him over to the police.

The incident occurred at the home Pegus shares with his wife and two children in Circular Left, Plea­santville.
