An elderly couple was left traumatised after three masked intruders stormed their home on Monday afternoon, tying them up and stealing cash, jewellery, and electronics.
The 89-year-old male victim was entering his home around 1p.m. when the criminals, one dressed in white coveralls, another in jeans and a jersey, and a third, forced their way inside. The men tied and gagged the man, forcing him to the ground and causing injuries to his back and head.
The victim's wife, also 89, was ordered to sit on a chair and subsequently bound by the intruders. The attackers ransacked the home, taking one wedding ring and other jewellery, two Samsung cellphones, a Samsung television, a Samsung tablet, a wristwatch, six hundred dollars in cash, a bottle containing 25-cent coins, and a Stihl 250 brush cutter.
