Police seized a firearm, two rounds of .45-calibre ammunition and approximately 500 grammes of cannabis during an intelligence-led anti-crime exercise in Valencia on Monday night.
The operation, conducted by officers attached to the Deputy Commissioner of Police Operations Team in the Eastern Division, took place between 7 pm and 11.30 pm on August 3.
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), officers acted on intelligence that illegal firearms had been concealed inside vacant fruit stalls along the Eastern Main Road, Valencia.
