A 23-year-old man from Princes Town has been remanded into custody after being charged in connection with a home invasion that left a 24-year-old resident injured during the early hours of Saturday, May 30.
Police said the incident occurred around 5 am when the victim awoke in his bedroom and found a man armed with a knife. A struggle broke out and the victim sustained minor injuries before the suspect fled.
Officers from the Princes Town Criminal Investigations Department and the Princes Town Police Station responded to the scene, carried out enquiries, and interviewed witnesses in the area.
