Minister in the Ministry of Housing Phillip Alexander has defended his statement regarding a triple murder which claimed the life of a two-year-old boy in Belmont on Thursday.
Alexander stated on his Facebook page following the incident that constituencies represented by the People’s National Movement (PNM) were out of control.
“A two-year-old among three murdered in Belmont this morning. Lack of representation. Lack of education opportunities. Lack of skills training. Lack of social support. Lack of proper jobs and not ten days hustles in exchange for votes. Belmont is a perfect example of what happens to good people when bad politics prevails,” Alexander said.
