Police are investigating the death of a four-year-old girl who was taken to the Mt. Hope General Hospital on Thursday evening after reportedly choking on an object.
The child has been identified as Jemima Bonaparte, of Pioneer Drive, Sealots.
According to police, around 5:38 p.m. paramedics arrived at Mt. Hope Hospital with the unresponsive child, who showed no visible marks of violence. Medical personnel made several attempts to resuscitate her, but she was pronounced dead at 6:07 p.m.
