Two men are ex­pect­ed to be charged with pos­ses­sion of firearm and pos­ses­sion of am­mu­ni­tion fol­low­ing an an­ti-crime ex­er­cise in San Fer­nan­do on Thurs­day.

Po­lice said the ex­er­cise took place on March 5, 2026, and in­volved of­fi­cers of the South­ern Di­vi­sion Road En­force­ment Task Force, the San Fer­nan­do En­quiries Team and the Mon Re­pos Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tions De­part­ment.

Around 2:50 pm, Sgt Seecha­ran and a team of of­fi­cers were con­duct­ing en­quiries along Cy­press Boule­vard, Union Hall, San Fer­nan­do, when they had cause to search two men.
