Lawyers repĀreĀsentĀing busiĀnessĀman DoĀminic Hadeed and his wife Genevieve are claimĀing that their clients are beĀing tarĀgetĀed by the GovĀernĀment, based on their ethĀnicĀiĀty and an onĀgoĀing leĀgal disĀpute over the terĀmiĀnaĀtion of leasĀes for State land.
The couĀpleās lawyers, led by SeĀnior CounĀsel DouĀglas Mendes, made the alĀleĀgaĀtions yesĀterĀday as they filed a juĀdiĀcial reĀview and conĀstiĀtuĀtionĀal moĀtion chalĀlengĀing the Hadeedsā conĀtinĀued deĀtenĀtion unĀder the onĀgoĀing State of EmerĀgency (SoE), over an alĀleged plot to asĀsasĀsiĀnate key GovĀernĀment ofĀfiĀcials.
The hyĀbrid case was filed days afĀter the lawyers grantĀed leave to do so by JusĀtice Frank SeepĀerĀsad on TuesĀday.
