BusiĀnessĀman DoĀminic Hadeed and his wife Genevieve have launched anĀothĀer bid to seĀcure their reĀlease from deĀtenĀtion over an alĀlegedĀ plot to kill key GovĀernĀment ofĀfiĀcials.
Lawyers repĀreĀsentĀing the couĀple, led by SeĀnior CounĀsel DouĀglas Mendes, yesĀterĀday filed a proĀceĀdurĀal apĀpeal chalĀlengĀing a deĀciĀsion last week by JusĀtice Frank SeepĀerĀsad to refuse to reĀlease them pendĀing the deĀterĀmiĀnaĀtion of their case, alĀlegĀing that they wereĀ Ā tarĀgetĀed by the GovĀernĀment based on their ethĀnicĀiĀty and an onĀgoĀing leĀgal disĀpute over the terĀmiĀnaĀtion of leasĀes for State land.
In the noĀtice of apĀpeal, obĀtained by Guardian MeĀdia, the couĀpleās lawyersĀ raised over a dozen grounds unĀder which they claimed that JusĀtice SeepĀerĀsad made nuĀmerĀous erĀrors in reĀfusĀing the reĀlease from PreĀvenĀtive DeĀtenĀtion OrĀders (PDOs).
