The woman who was arrested on Wednesday afternoon during a planned walk for peace on Piccadilly Street, Port of Spain, has been charged with disorderly conduct.
Organised by Peace Foundation TT, the peace walk was aimed at ending gang violence.
Police sources told the Express the 22-year-old woman was charged by WPC Marchan, and has since been released on “own-bail”. The bail was granted by a Justice of the Peace and she’s expected to appear before a Port of Spain District Court in July.
