Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has described bilateral talks and agreements with both India and Ghana in West Africa as successful, saying Trinidad and Tobago will reap rewards from these partnerships.
In early July, India Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a two-day official visit to Trinidad, during which several memoranda of agreement were signed.
On Thursday, Persad-Bissessar held bilateral talks with a delegation from Ghana, led by Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, Ghana’s Minister in Charge of Special Initiatives.
