Prime Minister Kamla Persad-­Bissessar has described bilateral talks and agreements with both India and Ghana in West Africa as successful, saying Trini­dad and Tobago will reap rewards from these partnerships. 

In early July, India Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a two-day official visit to Trinidad, during which several memoranda of agreement were signed. 

On Thursday, Persad-Bissessar held bilateral talks with a delegation from Ghana, led by Emmanuel Kwadwo Agyekum, Ghana’s Minister in Charge of Special Initiatives.
