One man was arrested and a motor vehicle which had been reported stolen recovered by officers of the North Central Division Tuesday.
According to a police media release, a male victim reported to police that he was carrying out deliveries on behalf of his employer on April 22 when he left the vehicle, which contained a quantity of goods, unattended for five minutes. He reported when he returned the vehicle (make and model not provided) was missing.
Officers of the Arouca Criminal Investigations Department in collaboration with the St Joseph Police Station and the North Central Division Task Force East, acting on information received, conducted an exercise shortly after, which resulted in a 23-year-old Tunapuna man being arrested in connection with the matter. The stolen vehicle was also recovered during the exercise.
