Three people were arrested in connection with Motor Vehicle and Praedial Larceny offences Tuesday, during anti-crime exercises conducted in the Central Division.
According to a police media release on Wednesday, in the first exercise, officers of the Central Division Task Force and Chaguanas Criminal Investigations Department acting on information, proceeded to the Enterprise district, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., on June 3.
During the exercise, officers intercepted a red Honda Vezel motor vehicle with a male occupant. Checks of the vehicle revealed that the chassis and engine numbers appeared to have been tampered with. The driver, a 26-year-old of Enterprise, was arrested in connection with the matter.
