A man was ar­rest­ed and a stolen ve­hi­cle re­cov­ered by of­fi­cers from the North Cen­tral Di­vi­sion on Tues­day.

A male vic­tim re­port­ed to po­lice while car­ry­ing out de­liv­er­ies for his em­ploy­er on Tues­day, he left his ve­hi­cle un­at­tend­ed for five min­utes. Up­on re­turn­ing, he dis­cov­ered the ve­hi­cle was miss­ing.

Of­fi­cers car­ried out an ex­er­cise, which led to the ar­rest of a 23-year-old man from Tu­na­puna in con­nec­tion with the theft.
