The Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice is in­ves­ti­gat­ing a se­ries of bomb threats re­port­ed at eight lo­ca­tions across Trinidad on Wednes­day.

The TTPS said it re­ceived sev­en re­ports through dif­fer­ent medi­ums, con­cern­ing the Ari­ma, Princes Town, Ch­agua­nas, Siparia and San­gre Grande Mag­is­trates’ Courts, Kent House, Val­park Shop­ping Plaza and a lo­ca­tion in San Fer­nan­do.

Po­lice im­me­di­ate­ly ac­ti­vat­ed se­cu­ri­ty pro­to­cols, height­ened their se­cu­ri­ty pos­ture and de­ployed of­fi­cers to con­duct checks at the af­fect­ed lo­ca­tions.
