The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has activated security measures following an unverified report concerning possible threats to embassies, diplomatic facilities and Government buildings.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations, Suzette Martin, has instructed divisional commanders to implement the necessary operational measures while police work with intelligence and national security partners to assess the credibility of the report.
The TTPS said the information is being treated seriously and with the required operational sensitivity.
