Police Commissioner, Allister Guevarro, is today issuing a warning to the person responsible for a series of bomb threats over the last two weeks, now confirmed to be hoaxes. Measures have been put in place to ensure that there are no disruptions to any Independence day observances.
Police Commissioner, Allister Guevarro has confirmed that the series of coordinated bomb threats, over the past two weeks, targeting magistrates courts, ministries, shopping plazas, hotels, and government offices, were confirmed to be hoaxes.He made the announcement in a statement on the eve of Independence Day.
The commissioner also recalled a similar case last year involving online threats against a Rio Claro secondary school.He warned that despite believing they were anonymous, the suspect was traced, arrested, and ultimately lost their freedom.He has now issued a warning to the alleged perpetrator of the bomb threats.
