Jamaica’s and one of the Caribbean’s finest sport commentators and Journalists, Lance Whittaker, is impressed with Guyana’s horse racing.
Whittaker appeared on the “Beyond the Rail” podcast last week and expressed his satisfaction at the growth and the quality of horses, and he commended the administrators for dealing with crowd control at the recent Guyana Cup.
“I’m very impressed with the growth. The sport in Guyana is hugely popular, and every year it gets better and better. The quality of horses that Guyana attracts is equal and even superior to other racing territories in the Caribbean.”
