Kaieteur Sports – Newly imported horse from the Jumbo Jet Racing Stables, Sand Pipes stormed to a comprehensive victory in the prestigious Guyana Cup horse race at Rising Sun Turf Club on a cool Sunday evening.
The 18th running of the Guyana Cup was arguably the best race ever, and Sand Pipes capped off a thrilling million-dollar day.
Running at one mile, Sand Pipes, hit the right gear at the right time, as jockey Jose Da Silva stopped the clock in one minute and 44 seconds. I’m Sam from Js Racing Stables ran second while Santorini, and Vitruvian rounded out the top four finishers. The familiar horses, in Stat, Dataman and Olympic Kremlin had no answers for Sand pipes.
