DURING the Carnival 2026 celebrations, a total of six children were reported to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) as separated, lost, or missing, and they were all reunited with their parents, Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander said.
The minister was responding to a question from Independent Senator Dr Desirée Murray at yesterday’s Senate sitting.
She asked him to provide information on how many children were reported as separated, lost, or missing during the Carnival 2026 celebrations, whether they were reunited with their parents or guardians, and the average time taken to effect reunification.
