More de­tails have emerged in­to the shoot­ing death of Mu­nic­i­pal Po­lice of­fi­cer Ja­mal Charles, who was shot to death yes­ter­day.

Po­lice are now con­firm­ing he and his col­leagues had been play­ing with their firearms when the in­ci­dent oc­curred.

Charles was on guard du­ty in the se­cu­ri­ty booth at the Min­istry of Rur­al De­vel­op­ment and Lo­cal Gov­ern­ment of­fice at Kent House, Long Cir­cu­lar Road Ex­ten­sion, around 3.15 pm on Wednes­day.
