A 52-year-old Debe man was struck and killed by a passing vehicle on Monday while walking on the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway.

Pedestrian Clyde Boodoo was pronounced dead last night after he was hit by a vehicle driving along the southbound lane of the highway in the vicinity of Ghandi Village.

Boodoo, who himself lived in Ghani Village, was taken to the San Fernando Mortuary and the vehicle wrecked and taken to the San Fernando Police Station.
