Three killed in Baramita brawl

(Kaieteur News) – Three farmers, including a husband and wife, were killed following an alleged confrontation at Aranka Village, Baramita, North West District, on Saturday.
Dead are: Joy John, 40, her husband, Amar Thomas, 38, and Tony Williams, 62.
Police said the incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on September 19, 2026. Preliminary investigations revealed that John and Thomas lived together with their five-year-old son at a camp in the area, while Williams resided at another camp approximately 20 miles away.
