ATTORNEYS representing Paria Fuel Trading Company on a number of charges under the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act originating from the February 2022 diving tragedy have been granted time to seek instructions from the company’s new board of directors.

With a new government now in office, so too there must be new boards of directors at all State entities, including at Paria.

Senior Counsel Gilbert Peterson, lead attorney for the company, yesterday requested the additional time from acting deputy chief magistrate Brian Dabideen when the matters again came up for hearing in the San Fernando Court.
