Parents are being urged to keep sick children at home when schools reopen, amid an increase in respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19 and influenza.
The warning comes from the Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners (BAMP), whose president Dr Lynda Williams has urged the public to take precautions as the country records a rise in respiratory illnesses.
