Amid a significant increase in respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19 and influenza, the public is being urged to follow the necessary health protocols to maintain good health.
In a statement issued today, President of the Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners, Dr Lynda Williams, outlined the recommended protocols.
She advises those who may feel ill to take the necessary precautions, which may include self-testing for COVID-19 and wearing a mask in public spaces.
