The ad­verse weath­er alert, which had been ac­tive for rough­ly 24 hours, has been dis­con­tin­ued.

Ac­cord­ing to the T&T Me­te­o­ro­log­i­cal Ser­vice’s lat­est ad­vi­so­ry, the po­ten­tial for im­pact­ful weath­er as­so­ci­at­ed with the pas­sage of a Trop­i­cal Wave has sig­nif­i­cant­ly di­min­ished.

“How­ev­er, there re­mains a medi­um (40-60%) chance of the heav­ier show­er or iso­lat­ed thun­der­storm ac­tiv­i­ty, favour­ing South­ern Trinidad,” Met Ser­vice fore­cast­ers warn. “Cloudi­ness and show­ery ac­tiv­i­ty are ex­pect­ed to in­crease from late evening in­to overnight.”
