Teen chops mother's boyfriend during argument

A St Au­gus­tine man who was chopped in the face by his girl­friend’s teenage son dur­ing an ar­gu­ment over him spend­ing the night at their house, was said to be in a sta­ble con­di­tion at hos­pi­tal yes­ter­day.

Po­lice said the 28-year-old vic­tim was at the woman’s apart­ment at Pasea Ex­ten­sion in Tu­na­puna, around 12.30 am on No­vem­ber 17 – when he and the woman’s 17-year-old son be­came em­broiled in an ar­gu­ment.

It was al­leged that dur­ing a heat­ed ex­change with his moth­er, the teenag­er grabbed a cut­lass and chopped the vic­tim across the right cheek.
