A 38-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman are be­ing treat­ed for chop wounds af­ter an ar­gu­ment over land own­er­ship with an­oth­er fam­i­ly mem­ber es­ca­lat­ed to vi­o­lence in Diego Mar­tin, on Tues­day af­ter­noon.

Po­lice said the man was clean­ing a lot of land on Bagatelle Road, around 3.15 pm when he was con­front­ed by a rel­a­tive.

The sus­pect got an­gry and chopped the man sev­er­al times on his left arm.
