A 49-year-old sergeant of police attached to the Court and Process Office, Point Fortin, reported being assaulted by two men at the Republic Bank ATM along Guapo Main Road, Fyzabad, last Thursday.
The officer arrived at the Fyzabad Police Station at about 7:30 p.m. and reported that the incident occurred around 7:10 p.m.
According to the report, the officer was about to leave the ATM when two men entered the area. He recognised one of the men as the driver of a red Kia Sportage, which he said had given him a bad drive several minutes earlier.
