A 33-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting in Petit Valley on Tuesday evening.

Police said Jerome Oliver, of Sparrow Drive, Petit Valley, was with a group of people near the corner of Simeon Road and Sparrow Drive around 8:25 p.m. when a silver wagon approached.

A gunman wearing a hoodie reportedly exited the vehicle and opened fire, causing the group to scatter. The gunman then returned to the vehicle, which fled south along Simeon Road.
