Police are investigating two separate murders in the Diego Martin district, following fatal shootings in River Estate and Petit Valley on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

In the latest incident, a man identified as Keston “Butters” Sooknanan, 39, was shot and killed near his home at Tomato Trace, River Estate, Diego Martin, shortly after 10 p.m. on Thursday.

Police said Sooknanan was liming with friends when a gunman approached and opened fire. His friends fled in different directions as shots rang out.
