Telecommunications giant Flow said it is urgently working to restore services to customers in Stony Hill, Red Hills, and surrounding communities following an act of vandalism that caused extensive damage to its network infrastructure yesterday morning.
Several fibre lines and cables were damaged in the incident, disrupting broadband, landline, and cable services for customers in the affected areas. Flow, in a statement, said that its technical teams are on the ground assessing the extent of the damage and carrying out repairs to restore services as quickly and safely as possible.
“We understand how significantly an interruption to connectivity affects our customers, their families, and businesses. Connectivity is essential to how people work, learn, communicate, and manage their daily lives, and we sincerely apologise for the disruption this incident has caused,” said Danielle Savory, senior manager, communications, at Flow.
