KINGSTON, Jamaica — Flow technicians are working to restore connectivity after a reported act of vandalism disrupted broadband, landline and cable services in Stony Hill, Red Hills and surrounding communities.
In a release, Flow said several fibre lines and cables were damaged on Wednesday morning, causing extensive damage to its network infrastructure. The company’s technical teams are assessing the extent of the damage and carrying out repairs.
“We understand how significantly an interruption to connectivity affects our customers, their families and businesses. Connectivity is essential to how people work, learn, communicate and manage their daily lives, and we sincerely apologise for the disruption this incident has caused,” said Danielle Savory, senior manager, communications, Flow.
