THE TRINIDAD and Tobago Regiment (TTR) Board of Enquiry investigating how 25,753 rounds of reserve 5.56 ammunition went missing from the Cumuto Barracks, which was supposed to start yesterday, will now begin today at 9 a.m. at the barracks.
A senior army officer told the Express yesterday that the Enquiry was stood down and will instead start today. He was not certain what caused the delay.
According to insiders, the Enquiry can continue for several days or weeks, and as in the past, can sometimes be adjourned before being reconvened at a later date.
