A marked police vehicle was destroyed by fire while officers were searched a house nearby for firearms and ammunition in Lower Santa Cruz on Wednesday.

The TTPS sports utility vehicle bearing license plate registration PEJ 1010 was destroyed on Grand Farrell Trace, off Grand Curacaye Road.

A police report stated that around 8 a.m., a team of police officers received information regarding firearms and ammunition allegedly stored in a small abandoned wooden house at LP #13 Farrell Trace on Grand Farrell Trace.
