Trinidad and Tobago’s art community is rallying to support one of its own, as several local artists donate their works for Art Attack—an art auction scheduled for Saturday, October 11, at the 101 Art Gallery in Newtown.
The event aims to raise funds for acclaimed painter Peter Sheppard’s medical expenses, following an emergency late last month.
Among the donated pieces is Submarine Battle, a striking painting by visual artist Camille Borde. The piece captures a moment of tension between a turtle and a jellyfish, rendered with fine detail and emotional depth—hallmarks of Borde’s expressive realism.
