THE Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) says it had increased patrols and anti-crime operations in the North Eastern Division following a series of killings over the weekend.
Over a four-day period, between July 18 and July 21, four men were fatally shot in Morvant.
Speaking during a news conference at the Police Administration Building in Port of Spain yesterday, public information officer ASP Owie Russell said police had already begun implementing additional security measures in response to the recent violence, much of which investigators believed to be gang-related.
