Twelve students have been arrested so far under the School-Oriented Policing Programme.
This was confirmed yesterday by Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Junior Benjamin.
Speaking at the National Council of Parent Teacher Associations (NPTA) central executive meeting, Cascadia Hotel, St Ann’s, Benjamin said two students were held for assault with a weapon, two held for possession of a weapon, four for possession of marijuana, two for marijuana possession for the purpose of trafficking, and two were arrested for robbery.
