President Christine Kangaloo will this afternoon swear in two new Ministers of Government at a formal ceremony scheduled for 3p.m. at President’s House in St Ann’s.
The names of the incoming ministers have not yet been officially announced, but one will head the Minister of Trade, Investment and Tourism.
Today’s swearing-in follows a period of post-election activity, including three official vote recounts requested by the opposition United National Congress (UNC). The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) confirmed earlier this week that all recounts, including in San Fernando East, have been concluded with no changes to the declared outcomes.
