Smiling faces and warm greetings marked the first official day on the job yesterday for newly sworn-in ministers of the United National Congress (UNC) Government.

Ministers reported to their respective ministries, where they were met with cordial welcomes from staff members. The ministers with portfolios, ministers in ministries, and parliamentary secretaries were sworn into office on Saturday at the President’s House in Port of Spain.

The ceremony marked the beginning of the UNC’s new term in office after the April 28 general election.
