A police sergeant and his family were robbed at gunpoint at a beach house in Manzanilla on Thursday night.
Investigators said around 8.25 pm, Sgt Fareed Mohammed, 53, was at a beach house located at Eastern Main Road, Manzanilla, with four female relatives—all of Princes Town—as well as the owner of the property, Sunjy Lingo, when they were robbed.
Police said four men dressed in dark clothing—two of them masked—entered the house through an open rear door.
