Caribbean Airlines said it carried 75,149 passengers between Trinidad and Tobago in August, an increase from the 66,814 passengers transported in July as demand for domestic air travel remained strong during the peak summer travel season.
The airline said it increased capacity in phases, beginning in mid-July, with further increases in August and additional flights added to meet demand during the Great Race weekend.
Acting Caribbean Airlines Chief Executive Officer Varma Khillawan said the domestic airbridge plays a vital role in connecting families, businesses and communities across Trinidad and Tobago.
