Caribbean Airlines has announced that it will expand its domestic airbridge schedule to meet increased travel demand during the busy July/August vacation period.
The airline will add 72 extra flights between Trinidad and Tobago, providing 7,656 additional seats from July 16 to August 31, 2026. The added services will run alongside the airline’s core domestic schedule and will be operated using a mix of ATR and Boeing 737 aircraft, giving passengers more flexibility and travel options during one of the year’s busiest travel periods.
The expanded capacity has been planned specifically to accommodate the surge in passengers travelling for the vacation period, including those attending the Tobago Heritage Festival and The Great Race, two of Tobago’s signature events that draw thousands of visitors annually. By boosting capacity during this window, Caribbean Airlines says it aims to support smoother travel while bolstering tourism, cultural preservation, and economic activity on the island.
