Caribbean Airlines has boosted capacity on the domestic airbridge ahead of the Great Race weekend, adding 1,200 additional seats for travel between Tobago and Trinidad from August 14 to 17, 2026, in response to a surge in passenger demand.

The added seats come on top of 2,856 additional seats the airline previously announced for the month of August, further expanding capacity on the route during what is typically one of the year’s busiest travel periods.

The airline said the newly added seats are already available for sale and encouraged customers to book early through the Caribbean Airlines website, mobile app, Reservations Call Centre, or travel agents. Caribbean Airlines said it expects the expanded capacity to meet passenger demand for travel to and from Tobago for the event.
