Prime MinÂisÂter KamÂla PerÂsad-BissesÂsar has conÂdemned the atÂtack at the White House CorÂreÂsponÂdents’ DinÂner, exÂpressÂing reÂlief that DonÂald Trump, the First LaÂdy, and othÂers in atÂtenÂdance were not harmed.
In a soÂcial meÂdia post, PerÂsad-BissesÂsar said she was reÂlieved that all ofÂfiÂcials and guests were safe folÂlowÂing the inÂciÂdent.
She alÂso comÂmendÂed the UnitÂed States SeÂcret SerÂvice for what she deÂscribed as swift acÂtion in apÂpreÂhendÂing the shootÂer and exÂtendÂed best wishÂes to the inÂjured ofÂfiÂcer.
