Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar said yesterday she prayed for the safety of United States President Donald Trump after a man armed with guns charged a dinner Trump attended in Washington, DC, on Saturday night.

Persad-Bissessar expressed relief that Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and other guests were safe following the incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
