(Kaieteur News) – A new Driver’s Licence Portal has been launched on the Guyana Digital School platform, allowing prospective drivers to complete their theoretical examinations online as part of efforts to modernise the licensing process and improve road safety.
The initiative, launched in keeping with President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali’s vision for greater accountability, transparency and safety on Guyana’s roadways, coincides with National Road Safety Month 2026, being observed under the theme “Every life matters. Every road user has a responsibility.”
The portal is a collaborative effort involving the Ministries of Education, Home Affairs, and Public Service, Government Efficiency and Implementation, along with the Guyana Police Force and the Guyana Revenue Authority.
